Winners at Advancing Healthcare Award for Physiotherapy Service
Bridge of Hope together with Belfast Health and Social Care Trust Physiotherapist Francis McMonagle picked up two awards at the Advancing Healthcare Awards NI in the Stormont Hotel October 18, 2017. The awards were in recognition of the innovative partnership programme they delivered to those affected the conflict and experiencing chronic pain. The pair picked up the prestigious Overall Winner of the Awards Ceremony as well as the top award in the Innovation and Creativity category.
CVS responds to Have Your Say Belfast conflict and mental health figures
Results from a recent Belfast Strategic Partnership survey of residents show that over a quarter of people (27%) had received treatment for anxiety or depression in the last year and that nearly 20% of people felt their health had been impacted by the legacy of the conflict.
