This opinion piece by Professor Bill Rolston, published in the  Irish Times (Nov 28, 2011), discusses the issue of justice and queries  whether perpetrators should be called to account for the abuses of the  past. The academic argues that approaches used in Transitional Justice,  which Bridge of Hope has been exploring through its own research, could  hold the answer. Bill Rolston is director of the Transitional Justice  Institute in the University of Ulster and professor of sociology in its  school of sociology and applied social sciences.
